Love Migrate
Leagues is the product of years of half-finished demos and song-writing experimentation between four school friends. Ever-evolving, Leagues sound uses subtlety and progression to transform minimal, atmospheric beginnings into pulsating post-rock that has been compared with the likes of Foals, The National, Joy Division and The Triffids. Leagues’ debut EP Exhale, released earlier this year has garnered attention from around the globe, including Triple J’s Richard Kingsmill, Hyperbole’s Dave Ruby Howe and a badly translated Greek blog that revered the sound from the ‘land of the kangaroos’.

Give these guys a few listens. It won't hit you straight away - but the subtle ideas and mood of their songs will sink in. I like how they've layered...

This is brilliant! Such subtle vocals over a fantastic layering of drums, guitar and keys (?). Make for a really powerful build up. Great job dudes.

Love this! The emotive voice draws you in and it's impossible not to move along to that infectious, escalating drum beat. A beautiful slow burner.
