Officially a band as of March 2012 , Breakaway are five mates from Sydney making the best music they can and playing shows as extensively as possible to share those songs.

Recording their full EP "One Minute | One Moment" at Electric Sun Studios with Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Heroes for Hire) a year was set into motion where they then signed to management agency, "The Frontline Agency", released their EP digitally and physically through most platforms, released their debut video clip for the song "Here I Am" and played many shows to their ever-growing fan-base.
