Originally hailing from Brisbane, Beviaqua is a Stanthorpe based folk/pop duo comprising the talents of guitarists and singer/songwriters David and Sarah Hume.
Beviaqua’s music features the beautiful vocal stylings of Sarah Hume along with husband David’s guitar artistry set to a variety of musical genres, highlighting this duo’s far ranging musical influences from Jazz through to Popular.
Beviaqua has just released their first Album “Little Ones” which is the culmination of more than 10 years of live performances throughout Brisbane and The Granite Belt region.
Although Little Ones consists largely of original compositions, listeners will also note the Eva Cassidy inspired “Fields of Gold” along with extensively reworked arrangements of 2 jazz classics- “Summertime” and “Over the Rainbow”.
