Unearthed Artists We Like: The Devil Rides Out

The Fyoogs are an all orignial, independent Australian band that produce a sound that is most accurately described as "Subatomic Rock". Sometimes garage, sometimes alternative, sometimes having an underlying funk feel but always present and powerful.

Having formed in late 2009, The Fyoogs have been gigging heavily to fund their many ventures in the studio and on to celluloid. They have been summoning a loyal following since releasing their debut EP and obtaining great reviews in the street press, Local News and community radio.

Their next EP (titled EPOS) has a very different feel to their debut, being influenced by a young jazz protege that they took into the studio. Just as this EP was released, the boys were already back in the studio, crafting their 3rd EP (titled Rumble). This latest EP is due for release in March 2011 along with another filmclip!
