I find this song really mysterious. The melody is really quite strange and quite theatrical. It's very dark and constantly takes you somewhere different... I love the production (especially the playground whistle and ghostly upright piano). Great song. Clever clever clever. (It reminds me of Nick Cave for some reason?)

These lyrics, these lyrics... they're just beautiful. I wish this song was longer. It reminds me a lot of a band called The Shivers. A gorgeous little slice of his mind, unfettered and bare. Gold.

This is a beautiful, beautiful track. It's like some kind of druggy children's lullaby, I love the whispery drums and hesitant guitar. I have no idea what he is singing but I think that's why I love it. It's like a big musical landscape you can get lost in.

I think Hazel is very amazing. She somehow manages to capture the groove and heartfelt honesty of 'soul' without the bombastic wide screen sound that usually goes with it. It's like nouveaux soul with this really beautiful childlike sensibility. Also, she writes great lyrics. Awesome.

I fucking love this band. Their music is both intelligent and emotive at once, so it goes straight to your brain and your heart. They've obviously got a very cohesive sound but every song has its own unique identity. See also 'Seemed Like a Good Idea'. Awesome.
