"..they definitely get points for confidence, significantly aided by crowd-stirring and encouragement from Adair. He is a true frontman and charmed the pants off everyone in the joint, shaking his hair with style."
Katie Rolston - Spaceship News
"...with a professionalism that can be admired, FRIGHTENERS slowed down the mood as they gave the audience a dose of indie alternative rock. From mellow melodic and catchy tunes to thick up-beat toe tappers these gentlemen made their 30 minute set fly by as their range of rhythms and sounds gave them a maturity beyond their years."
Drum Media - Perth
"There is absolutely no filler on Frighteners, just well crafted songs like ‘3:44am’ and ‘Home’, for example. My personal favourite on this release would have to be ‘Off The Line’, closely followed by ‘Home’; I feel these best define the band’s sound." Kyle Bright - The AU Review

Some not bad dirty disco beat indie stylings here. Not sure if everything gels yet but you can hear a band with some real potential in this.
