Courts & Kings are an indie band based in Adelaide who home-record songs while still in high school. You can check them out on Facebook, iTunes, Triple J Unearthed, Twitter, YouTube, SoundCloud, CD Baby, Spotify and Instagram.

Jack Holmes (vocals, guitar), Harry Deadman (guitar, keys), Lewis Brideson (keys, percussion, bass) and Maxi Peters (guitar, vocals) began playing together in early 2012, all attending the same school and sharing similar taste in music. Later in 2012 they released their debut EP. The five tracks on the EP are all written, recorded and produced by the young band in their home studio, blending some alternative, pop, folk, afro-beat, indigenous, electro and indie styles together to form their own unique sound. Check out their EP on iTunes!

Recently the lovely Greta Stark joined the band, adding some sweet harmonies to some new tunes that will be released throughout 2013. Courts & Kings have previously been #1 on the Triple J Unearthed indie chart, #3 overall, and shared the stage with the likes of Jinja Safari, Messrs, 44th Sunset and Lyall Moloney.

Really impressed by this tune and this band. Got that wiry indie sound locked down and the dual vocals work a treat.
