Treading a line that traces an eclectic string of influences, The Weekend People craft devastatingly poetic songs.

They started life as a guitar and piano duo: primarily a song-writing project, their energetic live performances set to boot heels thumping on the stage.

While recording their debut album, The Weekend People expanded to a four-piece, with the introduction of bass and drums.

The band's sound is warm and honest often with a hint of darkness and melancholy.
