Funk four piece ‘Lifeline’, from Byron Bay, play urban groove. Smooth keys, infectious guitar, obese bass lines and an irresistible drum beat has got the fifteen year olds playing with Stonefield, Beautiful Girls and Oceanics. Last year took the 2011 ‘Tweed Heads Battle of the Bands’ and earlier in the year the boys won the ‘Busking Over Byron’ competition and played Blues Festival 2012. Recently meeting with John Butler and Mama Kin was the icing on the cake to a three year anniversary. A name to expect big things from in the future.
