With the May 2011 release of their second album, Take One For The Team, Sydney pop punkers Heroes For Hire have made good on their promise to take over the airwaves.

Forever on tour in their trusty van, be it festivals with Paramore and Parkway Drive, arena tours with Short Stack and Boys Like Girls or sweaty clubs with Fireworks and The Wonder Years, the release of Take One For The Team has been spearheaded by lead single “All Messed Up,” a track which has now become a commercial radio staple throughout Australia, with the accompanying video receiving play from Channel V and Video Hits.

The album’s second single, anthem in the making “Secrets, Lies And Sins” has recently impacted commercial radio right across Australia, with the accompanying film clip set to premiere through Channel V this August!

Take One For The Team was recorded in Baltimore, USA with esteemed producer Paul Leavitt ‐ who had previously worked with All Time Low, Senses Fail and many more – with the album picking up rave reviews from all corners of the Australian media.

“With Patrick Stump focusing on a solo career, we’ve all been hopelessly trying to fill the void that Fall Out Boy left in our collections. Enter Heroes For Hire...” Emily Swanson – Blunt Magazine

“Songs full of hooks that will leave you humming hours later... one of the best pop punk releases in a long time.” Stu Harvey ‐ Triple J

With national tours supporting iconic San Diego pop‐punks Unwritten Law and local chart toppers Short Stack already under their belts for 2011, HEROES FOR HIRE are hitting the road for an extensive headline tour this October and November, with US friends I Call Fives and I Am Villain in support, as well as being the lone Australian act on the initial Soundwave 2012 announcement, alongside everyone from Slipknot and Limp Bizkit through to A Day To Remember and Cobra Starship.
