Royal Chant is a garage band from the wilds of NSW that plays overdriven folk songs with passion and poetry, sounding something like pop put through a fuzzbox blender, with a voice drawn from equal parts Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Michael Stipe, and the Oxford Book of English Verse...and a rose between your teeth.

Royal Chant have just finished work on their new EP, Starts & Stutters, which follows up where their debut Right On/Write Off EP left off. Howling guitars, thumping drums, and an incessant voice that wails, purrs, and growls on all subjects in the canon of human experience.

Great slow burning track. There's an anthemic quality to this, though sonically its quite subtle. Really enjoying Royal Chant's offerings.
