Hi my names Thorts. I have been writing and making hip hop since 1995 when i lived in mooroopna in country Victoria. I started taking it seriously in 1998 while living in brisbane but it wasnt until 1999 once i moved down to geelong in Victoria that i actually got out and did something.

I went on the radio a few times with my mates to spit live, freestyles and battles and just for fun, but it wasnt until 2004 that i released an album.

Me and 86 released a self titled ep in 2004 under the name of FIELD TRIP which was distrubuted through shogun and sold pretty well for two underground mc's just doing there thing.

Then in 2006 me and Brisbane producer V released a full length album under the name of Mankind, the album was titled "IIWII" (It Is What It Is) which was distributed through Obese and it helped to get both mine and V's name out around the country.
