These four disgustingly evil, 17-18 year old Canberra dwellers have been dwelling in Canberra since the dawn of dawn's existence.

Having played together for nearly 4 years, performing over 100 live shows in all different Canberran capacities, Pleased to Jive You have become known as 'local crowd pleasers' to audiences of all ages.

Their eclectic mix of styles and genuine originality leave audiences never knowing what next to expect. Spanning styles from funk, ska and experimental yiddish pop to cool jazz, punk and rock, PTJY enjoy odd-timings, out-of-nowhere tempo and key changes and beautiful sounding straight forward melodies and harmonies.

Because it's completely unoriginal to claim to be original, PTJY leave these claims up to their vast audience, who have said things like: "For those of you who haven't heard Pleased to Jive You, you're missing out ... Vast potential, which is equaled only by their originality has many wondering what the future holds..."

In 2009, PTJY released their first music video (search Pleased to Jive You on YouTube) which was directed, edited and produced by the band.

Hilarious. I wish more people would write songs about authors of kids' novels.

The best song I've heard from Pleased To Jive You on here, expanding on the sound displayed in their debut effort R.L. Stine. It's a poppier tune...
