The Transatlantics bring one of the most face-melt’n, back-sweat’n, hand-clappin’ and hip-droppin’ live acts to recently arrive on the Australian music scene. An eight piece band led by Tara Lynch, The Transatlantics take their cues from the legendary deep funk and soul music of the late 60’s and early 70’s to create a feverish live show of raw, old-school, gut-busting funk.

In their short lifetime, The Transatlantics have played at Playground Weekender 09, Parklife 08 and BDO 09 and played support to the likes of Roy Ayers (US), Ohmega Watts (US), Nick RecordKicks (Italy) and The Bamboos (Melb) and played alongside New Orleans funk legend Eddie Bo as the band on his Australian Tour.
