The Rustys are a trio from Ocean Grove who like to describe their music as Indie Rock. The band consists of Matt Blach on drums, Lachie McKiernan on bass and Beau Torrance guitar and lead vocals. Although still under 18 they have been playing together for many years, playing at music festivals and local gigs. They have won quite a few competitions for both songwriting and performing. Their first CD titled Lovely Day was recorded in 2006 and was well received but obviously their voices have matured and their new CD about to be launched has lots of variety in music styles and should have a wide audience appeal.
