Tell us about your approach to song writing.
I usually end up with some sort of melody first and the lyrics follow depending on the tone...I tend to write more late at night.

What are you hoping to get from the Unearthed Song writing workshop?
After finding it curiously difficult to articulate my own approach to songwriting I'm interested to hear as much as I can from other songwriters. The opportunity to meet and hear from these inspirational people is something I'm very grateful for.

How are you most looking forward to hearing speak at Song Summit?
Its almost overwhelming how many speakers there are, and from different fields within the industry. I'm sure I will gain a lot from the masterclass with Julian, Washington and Kevin Mitchell.

What’s coming up in the future?
The band I play in, Wolves at the Door have been fortunate enough to play some amazing shows this year including southbound and Laneway festival. We have just finished recording our debut EP which is due out in a couple of months. Hopefully people like what they hear and we'll go from there.

Australian music is?
Quite lovely...and going big places.
