Tell us about your music - how did you develop your sound?
I don’t think we’ve developed a sound. We’re still just fucking around in the garage. I think we’re just making loud noises and passing it off as music. Basically I just took the best songs from the best Oh Sees records and added a Bo Diddley beat.

What can a punter expect from coming to see the seven of you guys live?
It’s not always seven. But when it is - its pretty fried. You can’t really hear anything and it kinda turns into a bit of a noiseball. But that’s alright.

What’s the best advice you’ve been given and who was it from?
My dad. He told me to keep it cool and stay away from girls.

Tell us about the bands, producers and people in the Melbourne music community that inspire you.
Paul Maybury’s ‘A Secret Location Studios’ in Fairfield is a sick place to record with heaps of vintage gear. We love The Toot Toot Toots, Sambrose Automobile, The Murlocs and every fried band that plays the Nash in Geelong every week. Also Loki Lockwood is boss. Chris Bolton aka Seagull. I just like Eddy Current. I want them to play again.

What’s coming up in 2011?
Just waiting for the new Oh Sees record to come out so we can try and write some more songs. See how we go, its all gags in the end. Also I think we will try and improve the live show, work in some more theremin and harmonica because those instruments are funny. Our EP “Willoughby’s Beach” will probs be out in October. Then we will record an Album.

Australian music is?
...pretty sick if it’s not The Living End playing live at Splendour and the entire crowd chanting “All that I’m hearing from you is white noise”.
