Interview: 16 April 2010
Tell us about your music – how did you develop your sound?
It has just come with time together rehearsing, and usually getting stuck jamming a single riff for fifteen minutes... From there, it usually evolves into a sound and a song... From that we have just learnt alot about each others playing and that has helped it develop.
What can the Groovin the Moo audience expect from your live show?
Alot of energy and a big sound. And playing to a home crowd should give us a little extra on top...
Who are you most looking forward to seeing at Groovin the Moo?
Siverchair... What an Australian band to share a bill with... Also all the International acts, particuarly Vampire Weekend, Spoon etc. Its pretty cool having such names in Bunbury.
What’s coming up in the future?
We are back in the studio again mid-year with our producer Andy Lawson. Can not wait for that, as we have some new material that we are really liking. Other than that, we hope to be part of the Wami Festival in May, in some shape or form again, and an east coast stint that we hope is in the not too distant future.
Australian music is?
...pushing forward at a speedy rate! Such a diverse range of music, particuarly the Perth scene for us. Being from WA, we see first hand so much talent gracing the stages each week. We feel very lucky to be a part of it all.
