Describe your music
Happy, energetic pop/indie rock
Tell us about the local music scene in Adelaide.
It's much smaller than places like Melbourne and Sydney (obviously), but its good in that sense too because it makes it easier to become an established and reputable band.
You've done a bit of touring. What's been your favourite place so far?
Sydney for sure. It seems we always get the royal treatment when we go. Everyone is so nice.
What's the best thing about Poly and the Statics?
The diversity in our music. its good because it makes playing the music more interesting and we dont get bored.
...and the worst?
The nuisance of deciding who's going to be the designated driver after gigs. im pretty sure thats a problem all bands.
What was the best piece of advice you've been given.
It's not what you know, its who you know.
Australian music is...
The best music you can get.
